Privacy policy

This site collects nothing until you send a form or accept analytics. This page lists exactly what each form sends, who receives it, and how to have it deleted.

Who is responsible

Datasmarts is an AI automation consultancy working with clients in the United States and Europe remotely, and is the data controller for anything this site collects. Any question about this policy, or any request about your data, goes to jesus@datasmarts.tech.

What this site collects

Nothing, until you do one of four things: submit the contact form, request the ROI breakdown, submit the form on the AI receptionist page, or accept analytics. Reading the site sends nothing beyond the standard server access logs described below.

The contact form

Submitting the contact form sends your name, your email address, your company if you enter one, what you said you need, your message, your budget and timeline if you select them, the language of the page you submitted from, and the fact that you ticked the consent box.

That submission is handled by Netlify Forms. Netlify stores it and sends a notification to jesus@datasmarts.tech. Your consent is stored alongside the submission, so there is a record of what you agreed to and when.

The ROI report request

The ROI calculator itself runs in your browser. Moving the sliders sends nothing.

If you ask for the detailed breakdown, the request form sends your email address, your consent, and the figures behind the estimate: hours per week, number of people, whether you entered an annual salary or an hourly rate, the salary or rate you entered, the share of the task you marked automatable, the estimated hours recovered, the estimated annual saving, the page you were on, and its language. That includes the salary or hourly rate you entered. It goes to Netlify Forms, the same way the contact form does.

If you have accepted analytics, Google Analytics separately receives the fact that you used the calculator, the hours, headcount and automatable share you selected, and a range for the estimated saving. Your salary or hourly rate is never sent to analytics.

The AI receptionist page

/ai-receptionist is an advertising landing page with its own form. Submitting it sends your name, business name, email address, phone number and trade type to an n8n automation instance that Datasmarts operates on its own server. That form does not use Netlify Forms.

Booking a call

The “Book a call” links open Cal.com. Anything you enter there is collected by Cal.com under its own privacy policy, not by this site.

Server logs

Netlify hosts this site and records standard access logs, including IP addresses, as part of serving pages. Those logs are Netlify’s, kept under Netlify’s own retention rules, and are not used to build any profile of you.

Analytics and tracking

No analytics or advertising script loads until you accept it. Declining loads nothing and sets no cookies from either service below.

  • Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-HT1F008MN8, across the site, only after you accept. It records page views and a small set of events: contact, ROI and AI receptionist form completions, clicks on booking links, and calculator use as described above.
  • Meta Pixel, ID 786410477061499, only on /ai-receptionist and /ai-receptionist/thank-you, and only after you accept. It records a page view on those two pages and nothing else. It does not record a conversion event when you submit the form, and it does not run anywhere else on the site.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage and kept for 12 months. It is not a cookie and it is not sent anywhere.

One other value can be stored on your device, and only if you accept analytics: when you use the ROI calculator, a single flag is written to session storage so that using it is counted once per visit rather than on every slider move. If you decline, or have not answered yet, nothing is written. It contains no figures, it is deleted when you close the tab, and it is not sent anywhere by itself.

You can change it at any time from the consent controls on this page. Clearing your browser’s site data for datasmarts.tech also resets it, and you will be asked again on your next visit. Withdrawing consent stops any further collection; it does not delete what was already collected, so use the contact address above if you want that too.

Who receives your data

Processor What it receives When
Netlify Contact and ROI form submissions; server access logs Always for logs, on submission for forms
Google Analytics events Only after you accept analytics
Meta Page views on the two funnel pages Only after you accept, and only there
Cal.com Whatever you enter when booking Only if you book a call
n8n (self-hosted by Datasmarts) AI receptionist form submissions Only if you submit that form

Netlify, Google, Meta and Cal.com are based in the United States. The n8n instance behind the AI receptionist form runs on hosting that Datasmarts rents and administers itself, rather than on a third party service. Either way, your data may be processed outside the country you live in.

Datasmarts does not sell your data, does not share it with advertisers, and does not use form submissions to build advertising audiences.

How long it is kept

Form submissions are kept while we are in contact and afterwards for our own business records. You can ask for yours to be deleted at any time and it will be, unless we are required to keep it. If you want to know what is held about you before deciding, ask and we will tell you.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy,
  • correct it if it is wrong,
  • delete it,
  • stop using it, or
  • withdraw a consent you previously gave.

Email jesus@datasmarts.tech and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
